Funding & opportunities
European funding, partnerships and opportunities
FPPF identifies European funding, develops project concepts, prepares and structures applications, builds partnerships and consortia, implements projects and offers its own support programmes.
01
European funding
We identify relevant European funding opportunities and turn ideas into credible, fundable and implementable projects. This is not commercial “grant writing” — it is project and partnership development.
Depending on the specific funding programme and the applicable eligibility rules, FPPF may participate as an applicant, partner, co-applicant, implementation partner or facilitator. Eligibility is always verified against the rules of the specific programme.
FPPF does not confirm an organization’s eligibility for a specific European programme without first verifying the rules of that programme.
What the process involves
Identification
We review relevant European programmes and verify the eligibility rules that apply to the organization and to the type of project.
Concept development
We turn the idea into a structured project concept: problem, objectives, target group, activities, results.
Partnerships & consortia
We identify the partners required and build the consortium the programme calls for.
Structuring & application
We prepare and structure the application file in line with the programme’s requirements.
Implementation
We take part in implementation as partner or facilitator, depending on the role agreed in the project.
02
For NGOs
If your organization has a solid idea, you can approach us directly. We review the concepts we receive and respond on the possibilities for cooperation.
What we look at
- how clearly the problem is defined
- relevance to the Foundation’s strategic pillars
- the target group and expected impact
- the organization’s capacity to implement
- fit with available funding programmes
The support we can provide
- project concept development
- identifying suitable funding programmes
- partnership and consortium building
- structuring the application
- implementation partnership
Submitting a concept is not a guarantee of funding or partnership.
03
FPPF funding
The Foundation creates and supports its own funding opportunities: scholarships, educational support, research support and, in future, calls dedicated to organizations.
Three distinct categories
For institutional clarity, FPPF always distinguishes between the following categories and never presents them together:
Funding obtained and implemented by FPPF
Funds the Foundation secures and implements through its own projects or in partnership.
Funding opportunities provided directly by FPPF
The Foundation’s own programmes, such as Bursele FPPF and future calls.
European funding opportunities identified for partners
European programmes we identify for the organizations we work with.
At this time, the Foundation has no open grant programme of its own for organizations. Active programmes are published in the calls section.
04
Bursele FPPF
The Foundation’s flagship programme under the Education & Scholarships pillar, supported by a ten-year partnership with Fundația Oameni și Fapte in Romania.
05
