About the project
In June 2026, For People & Progress Foundation signed an agreement to support a One Health research laboratory within the University of Life Sciences in Timișoara, Romania.
The Foundation’s support consists of the acquisition of laboratory equipment and research infrastructure. Scientific guidance for the initiative is provided by Dr. Sebastian Popa.
The One Health approach treats human health, animal health and environmental health as a single field of research and public policy. The project sits within FPPF’s work on institutional cooperation and support for academic and research infrastructure.
